The Importance of Employee Feedback: Enhancing Communication in the Workplace
Efficient communication is not just indispensable but the
core strength of every great company, where the voice of the employees’
feedback holds a position on the pedestal. In the age of hectic and fast paced
business environment, the criticality of creating unhindered communication flow
gets immense importance. Employee feedback not only fills the gap between
supervisors and employees, but it is as well an essential factor for achieving
business development, improving employee engagement levels and the general
corporate culture.
Primarily employee feedback takes a very commodious role in forging the context of transparency and mutual trust in the culture of the workplace. The bottom line is when employees are aware that their voices are respected and considered they are willing to be as committed and motivated as possible. This inclusive impression leads the team to an atmosphere where ideas are freely introduced, and creativity runs uncompromised. When employees know that their voices are heard and their efforts have a meaning, they become more committed to organization's goals and purposes and care more about its thriving That is why, as result, companies draw a cause-effect relation between customer experience and these measurable business outcomes, which are, in other words, customer satisfaction, higher profits and a better competitive edge.
Nonetheless employees’ thoughts will not bring the expected outcome if the communication channels are not of high quality and the organizational leadership is not open-minded. The available repertoire of digital tools for organizations seeking to capitalize on feedback has never been more abundant than today.

When they feel valued and inclusive they become motivated to perform well. The valuable feedback (positive or negative) given to employees by higher level managers or supervisors are also important as it helps the employees to improve themselves and thereby perform well.

Principles of management don’t much matter. Endeavours succeed or fail just because of the people involved.
